Senior NetSuite Manufacturing Consultant
About BlueCollar
BlueCollar Cloud Solutions builds NetSuite-native software for construction, field service, and manufacturing companies. We're a small team with big ambitions—helping blue-collar businesses modernize their operations with purpose-built tools.
About This Role
BlueCollar Cloud Solutions is hiring a Senior NetSuite Manufacturing Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations for manufacturers running on NetSuite. You will own customer-facing workstreams from discovery through go-live: understanding how a manufacturing organization operates, translating business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions, surfacing risks and process gaps early, and guiding customers through implementation and adoption. This is a senior, hands-on role for a consultant who knows NetSuite manufacturing, inventory, planning, and order management inside out, and who is comfortable leading a room of operations and finance stakeholders from discovery through go-live. Many of our customers run both manufacturing and project-based construction work, so this role spans NetSuite manufacturing and BlueCollar Projects (BCP), our NetSuite-native solution for project financials, budgets, billing, and revenue recognition.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementations for manufacturing clients, owning each customer-facing workstream from discovery through go-live
- Run discovery and design sessions with operations, production, and finance stakeholders to map how the business actually runs
- Translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions across manufacturing operations: work orders, assemblies, WIP, and routings
- Configure inventory and supply chain capabilities: lot and serialized inventory, multi-location stock, bin management, and warehouse management (WMS)
- Design demand and supply planning (MRP): reorder points, supply and demand plans, and production scheduling
- Configure order management across sales orders, purchase orders, fulfillment, and procurement
- Implement BlueCollar Projects (BCP) for customers that need project financials alongside manufacturing: project setup, contracts, budgets, cost codes, and change orders
- Configure project billing and revenue recognition: fixed fee and AIA progress billing, T&M billing, retainage, and percentage of completion revenue recognition with WIP reporting
- Design unified solutions for customers running manufacturing and project-based construction work in one NetSuite account, including project manufacturing and engineer-to-order scenarios
- Identify risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions before they affect delivery
- Build and deliver training that drives real user adoption
- Provide go-live support and post-go-live optimization
- Create implementation documentation, configuration workbooks, and reusable best practices
- Partner with the development team to scope and validate custom solution requirements
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 5 years of NetSuite implementation or consulting experience
- 10+ end-to-end NetSuite implementations led in a lead consultant capacity
- Hands-on experience configuring NetSuite manufacturing: work orders, assemblies, WIP, and routings
- Strong command of NetSuite inventory and supply chain: lot and serialized inventory and warehouse management (WMS)
- Working experience with demand and supply planning (MRP) and order management
- Familiarity with BlueCollar Projects or project-based construction accounting (budgets, billing, change orders, revenue recognition), or the ability to learn it quickly
- A clear understanding of how a manufacturing organization operates, end to end
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions
- A consultant's instinct for spotting risks and process gaps early
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational discipline
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to Have
- NetSuite certification: SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or Administrator
- Experience with advanced manufacturing, work order completions, and backflushing
- Familiarity with mobile inventory, barcode scanning, and WMS rollouts
- Exposure to Demand Planning, Supply Planning
- Background in discrete, process, or mixed-mode manufacturing
- Experience with construction or project accounting: AIA billing, WIP reporting, change orders, retainage, and percentage of completion revenue recognition
